Murphy Lake

We finally got a weekend that Rhett wasn't farming and we could go do something. So we decided to go up Murphy Lake with my sister and her family and do some camping!!! We were so excited. What is better than a get away thats not hours away, and in the most awesomest valley with the most bueatiful mountains ever!! We chose to camp by the creek up Murphy Lake which was a good idea at the time. But then we climbed out of the truck, got the camper all set up and wanted to change our minds. Kynzee and Lynzee thought it was great though!! But we already had set up, so we decided to just be gaurd dogs to the two of them. We arrived first and we didn't camp where we decided to so Rhett had to go all the way out to call Tonya and let her know where we were. Mean while, the Kids and I took a four wheeler ride. We were half way up a mountain trail when it decided to pour, and THUNDER!! It was loud. The older two got scared because how loud it was, Lynzee thought it was great getting wet and Kynzee was ticked off because she was getting wet. When we got back to our trailer we sat inside and played the matching game and watched the creek rise about 1 foot. It was kinda scary. Then Rhett finally returned and so did Tonyas family. We had a ball. The kids thought it was so awesome to finally be in the woods again. The first night it didn't rain to hard but the second night it poured. When we got up the next morning the creek was so muddy. It looked like chocolate milk!! Mmmmm!! not! Rhett even got to take his scenery pictures. He does a great job. The kids rode their bikes, hiked, played horse shoes and did a million other things. They found some beads so we beaded a bunch of pine needles. The twins just wandered every where they could, ate dirt and a lot of rocks, trying to play in the creek and kept getting pulled away. For me, I just relaxed most the time and enjoyed not being home cleaning and doing my everyday chores!!
