Kesslee and Ashton were so excited telling me how they were going to hold on, and how you have to squeeze your legs together around the sheep and they were going to ride the hole length of the arena. Well we got there and their excitement was still on top level. Rhett went and lined up with them with all the rest of the excited little buckaroos and then they watched. Rhett went to put Ashton on and he was like "no dad no". So then brave little Kesslee went. She held on tight and was so brave and she lasted 2.5 sec. Which really for a little girl, is eternity. She was so proud of herself, even if her chest hurt a little bit because she fell of onto her front side. Then Ashton decided if Kesslee did it he could. So Rhett went to load him on, and the sound system went out. So they worked on that for a few minutes while Ashton sat there wondering what on earth he was doing. Then it was time and Rhett just put him on without giving Ashton time to think about it.
The Sheep ran through the shoot and went maybe 10 yards and Ashton went flying. He skidded across the dirt. He was NOT IMPRESSED! He walked back to me and told me that the mean sheep kicked him in the stomach and riding a sheep is NOT FUN!! He got a little bruise on his stomach from skidding, (not getting kicked) but we'll leave his story for his own!!
Kesslee riding with excitement!

Ashton explaining to me that the Mean sheep kicked his stomach!

Good Job guys. Our blog is back up and running. We miss our friends and hope you are all doing good. It looks like you are. See ya Michelle
How funny! I've always liked watching the kids ride the sheep. They have no fear!
Looks like fun. We have missed the fair and stuff these past few years. Did you make it to our high school reunion? I was sad to miss it.
